Because linen fabric gets softer with every wash, our washed linen curtains have a lovely feel to them. They’re also less likely to shrink if you put them in the wash than unwashed curtains. But please note that we always recommend dry cleaning as the lining can shrink too. If in doubt, contact us for advice.

To ensure you get the highest-quality washed linen curtains, we go out of our way to source 100% natural fabrics from the finest textile factories. Our collection includes not just washed linen curtains but washed linen-blend and washed cotton curtains as well. We recommend you choose five free samples before placing your order, as that will give you a chance to see the fabrics in natural light to help you decide which one works best for your home.

Made to measure linen curtains pre washed

You may already know that 100% natural linen is long-lasting, hypoallergenic, and extremely breathable. And, it gets softer with every wash. That’s why our pre-washed linen curtains have such a soft and luxuriously comfortable feel to them. Plus, an added benefit is that pre-washed linen curtains are less likely to shrink when you clean them, although dry cleaning is always recommended.
This will depend on the weight and weave of the fabric. Part of the charm of linen curtains is how they look in sunlight, and how they add a light and airy feel to a space. Some pre-washed linen curtains can be slightly see-through, though if you’re concerned about privacy then we recommend you choose a heavier linen fabric or add curtain linings like blackout curtain lining fabric.
