The desire to create unique textiles that give daily pleasure at home and when going out is the essence of Sandra Kuwartowski’s label ‘luminous and emerald’. She has also designed this lovely table runner with cute hand printed prints. It is made of Ada & Ina’s Warsa fabric which is 100% linen fabric. She also uses for her textiles finest merino, cotton and silk yarn. However for the range of accessories her hunt for materials is given free rein. She collects everything that glitters and sparkles: from small antique buttons to sparkling Brummagem and from metal wool to curled fancy yarn.

April 13th, 2010Ada & Ina have moved !!
April 13th, 2010
Well, things have been a little chaotic over at Ada & Ina for the last few weeks, but we have finally moved. Last month we packed all the linen up and swapped our beloved Liverpool for the equally lovely Kent “the garden of England”, specifically Whitstable. It’s a beautiful little seaside town as close as you can get to France without falling into the sea. OK, the beach doesn’t have anything as amazing as Crosby’s Antony Gormley sculptures; but it does boast ‘the street‘,, all the oysters you could ever hunger for, and beautiful sunsets that inspired Turner to paint here. It also has some of the best independent shops we’ve seen in a long time. Over the next few months we hope to have a look around and introduce you to the artisans who run these thriving businesses as well as anything else we find online that catches our eye. We are mostly looking forward to the Oyster Festival and the 2010 Biennale. Perhaps we will see you there. x
